Mrs. Vernon has recently joined Oak Lane as librarian.  In our library, students gain many literacy & technology skills, participate in Accelerated Reader reading challenges, and participate in Person County's Battle of the Books.  

Mrs. Vernon also serves as Oak Lane's Academically and Intellectually Gifted teacher.  So, the Media Center also serves as a classroom for accelerated and individualized learning.
