The mascot for PCLA is a Phoenix. The Phoenix is a unique bird that is as large as an eagle and has a melodious cry. It is an immortal bird that is derived from Greek mythology and is one that arose from ashes. The most notable characteristics of a Phoenix are hope, strength, resilience, growth, and creativity. Here at PCLA we are proud to exemplify the attributes of the Phoenix. As a team, we (students and staff) will tell our story as we strive for success with passion and the drive to progress.
