Due to some snow covered rural roads that are traveled by buses, there will be no school for students on Friday, February 21st. Staff will report on a two-hour delay. Due to potential continued hazardous road conditions in rural areas, there will be no school for students tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd. PCS will operate with a Required Teacher Workday for staff beginning at 10:30 am. Please stay safe and warm.

Due to forecasted low temperatures which will cause refreezing on secondary roads, Person County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th for all staff and students. Please stay safe and warm.

Due to secondary roads throughout the county still being snow covered, PCS students will have a remote learning day tomorrow, Monday, January 13th. Staff will operate on a two-hour delay. Stay safe and warm.

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Person County Schools will release early on Friday, January 10th. Elementary and high schools will release at 12:45 pm and middle schools will release at 1:00 pm. There will be no daycare or any other after school activities.

To ensure the safety of all of our bus riders and routes that begin well before daylight, Person County Schools will be on a two-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th for all students and staff.
