Parenting with Eyes Wide Open: Hidden in Plain Sight | Thursday, November 21 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Northern Middle School's auditorium | Could you spot the warning signs of substance use in your teen's bedroom? The CDC reports that 50% of youth are using substances alone at home, making parental awareness crucial. Person County Schools and Insight Human Services invite you to "Hidden in Plain Sight," an eye-opening interactive experience that could help protect our youth. Step into a recreated teenage bedroom where everyday items may not be what they seem. This powerful demonstration reveals how common objects can be used to hide drugs, vaping devices, and alcohol, while educating parents and community members about current substance abuse trends and warning signs. Don't miss this opportunity to gain vital knowledge about youth substance use, modern drug paraphernalia, and concealment methods.
