Due to power outages and trees down in spots across the county, Person County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for students on Wednesday 01/10. This will allow time for power restoration, debris to be cleaned up, and buses to run during daylight hours. Please travel safe.

SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUESTS: We are receiving a lot of phone calls and emails requesting course request changes. To streamline the process (and limit your frustration!), we ask you to submit your concern regarding the schedule at the link below: https://forms.gle/La1FLC4xqe2XVmH8A STUDENTS must submit the form while logged into their school email account, as the form only accepts submissions from PCS email accounts). Requests sent via email or phone call will not be prioritized. Every schedule was individually reviewed and every attempt was made to accommodate students' primary course requests. However, alternates may have been utilized in order to complete the schedule. Due to the complexities surrounding student schedules, changes to schedules will only be made if the following criteria has occurred: -Graduation requirements not satisfied; -Did not request course; -Prerequisite not satisfied; -Dropped PCC course and/or PCC concern; or -Schedule is incomplete. All schedule changes must be requested via form linked above by Wednesday, August 9, at 11:59 p.m for the entire school year; therefore, requests for first and second semester schedule changes should be made at this time. There will not be a schedule change window once school starts or at any other time throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Students must be logged into their school Gmail accounts to access the form. It will not be accessible if logged into a personal email account. As concerns are addressed, students and parents will be notified.
