It's National School Bus Safety Week! Safety doesn't begin or end with the bus ride. It's about safety at every stop!
Please remember these two important safety tips:
Stay Alert: Slow down in school zones and neighborhoods.
Stop for the Bus: Obey the stop-arm law every time.
Thank you for all that you do to help keep all PCS students safe from the time they leave home in the morning until they return in the afternoon!

Bus 69 will be delayed leaving school this afternoon by approximately 30-40 minutes. Students will be dropped off by bus 50. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like for your child to be a car rider instead of bus, please arrive to the school before 3:30- otherwise they will ride the bus. Thanks!

Monday, October 6th is World Day for Bullying Prevention. We're calling on all PCS students, teachers, staff, and community members to #BlueUp by wearing blue and standing together to stomp out bullying!. 💙 Let’s unite every student, every classroom, and every school in blue to take a powerful stand against bullying! #BeKind

Tomorrow night be sure to check out our stations for bus transportation (in the gym), My Life Matters (hallway), Before and After School Care (hallway), and PTSO (hallway in front of media center.
We will also have registration help and laptop rentals in the media center. The cost to rent a laptop is $25.
All kindergarten families will meet in the cafeteria.

Kindergarten students participate in Staggered Entry (with the exception of our students assigned to a separate setting EC classroom) the first week of school.
So parents/guardians can plan accordingly, please see below for which staggered entry day your child is assigned to attend. Teacher assignments will be determined after the two staggered entry days and teacher assignments will be communicated during the Meet the Teacher event at 1pm on 8/20.
We will mail letters with the same information the first week of August. If you have not registered your child for Kindergarten and he/she will be starting this Fall, please do so no later than July 25th to guarantee bus transportation.

It's time to complete Returning Student Registration! Parents/Guardians must use their Parent Portal account to register.
👉 Don’t have a Parent Portal account?
No worries—you can create one using your child’s Student Number (this is their lunch number that most students know) and their birthdate.
👉 Already have an account but forgot your username or password?
Just click “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” to reset it.

🚍 Transportation Reminder:
During registration, you’ll be asked whether your child is a bus or car rider. If you select bus rider, be sure to click the link to request transportation—this will take you to a separate Google Form.
🗓️ The deadline to register for guaranteed bus transportation is July 25 – that’s only 9 days away! If you’re not sure whether you submitted the form, just ask—we can check for you.
