This is a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, September 4 in honor of the Labor Day holiday. Students in grades 5-8 will be participating in their iReady Beginning of Year diagnostic assessments this Tuesday-Thursday. The Google Classrooms will provide scheduling information and detailed instructions. Please encourage your student to work hard and perform their best! They help to provide our teachers with important information on how accurately to meet students' educational needs. 5th-8th grade students will be on campus on Wednesday, September 6 from 9am-12pm. We hope you'll join us this Wednesday, August 23 for PCSVA Open House. Elementary and Middle school students can join us between 5p-6pm and High School students can join us between 6pm-7pm. Doors to the main entrance will open 10 minutes before the start of the evening events.

Fall Athletics at Person High School will kick off on Monday, July 31! Students interested in participating will need to see Ms. Petty in the main office of PHS. A sports physical is also required.
Volleyball- main gym, tryouts July 31 & Aug 1 from 9am-11am
Football- practice field, July 31-Aug. 2 from 8am-11am
Women’s tennis- tennis courts, July 31 from 3pm-5pm
Cross country- track, Aug 7th from 3pm-5pm

Person County Schools Online Registration is now open! Please complete this process for each of your children at your earliest convenience.
If your child(ren) were enrolled in PCS at the end of the 2022-2023 school year, you should have received an email with instructions for completing the Returning Student Registration. If you did not receive this email, please contact your child(ren)'s school.
