Greetings Parents and Families, Tomorrow, May 30th is North's Field Day. Please send water, extra clothes, and a towel. We advise that students wear sunscreen. This will be a closed event for students only. Talk to your child about being safe, being a good sport, and having a good time. Next, 5th Grade Promotion Service is Friday, May 31st. The program begins at 9:00am. Students must be on time to school and prepared to line up by 8:45am. Students have 4 tickets for the service. Dismissal will be on Friday, May 31st at 12:45pm. Have a great summer and thanks for your support this school year!

Saturday, May 18th--Matthew 25 and Community Volunteers will be at North Elementary School's Parking Lot to distribute cleaning supplies and household items! Arrive between 10am-12pm to get FREE items (while supplies last). This event is organized by Mrs. Shelby Williams from Person High School.

End of Grade Testing begins tomorrow. Tomorrow 3rd Graders will take the Reading EOG. 5th Grade will take the Science EOG. Please make sure that students are on time for school tomorrow! Cheer them on to success. Encourage them to use their strategies and take their time to read. Let's SOAR!

WEDNESDAY, March 13 is Spring Picture Day. Look your best for your individual picture and class picture! A proof or portrait package will be sent home from the school with information on how to order. You don't have to pay in advance (Allow 3-4 weeks) Choose colors that compliment your child. Solid colors and small patterns work best. Avoid clothing with large images and logos. Prices ranges from $64 to $12.

GRADES 2-5--Parents and Families, We are pleased to share that the students can now use IXL at home for extra practice. Details on how to log in will be in your child's bookbag. IXL is an online learning hub. Students can access the tutorials and continue independent learning at home. Parents can rely on IXL videos as an additional resource for supporting their child. THIS IS NOT FOR A GRADE. Access will allow you to work with your child at home and view Math, Science, Social Studies, and ELA tutorials/videos at home. If you have questions/concerns, please contact your child's teacher.
