Person Early College for Innovation and Leadership develops the whole child and seeks to address the cognitive, emotional, social and physical needs of each student, while also raising academic achievement. To achieve this we have a strong focus on Character and Leadership along with Service Learning.  We partner with parents and students to create an inclusive community of learning.

The PECIL Way. The way we do things at Person Early College. This guides all members of the Person Early College Community. We have identified our core values as: Respect, Responsibility, Pride, Scholarship, Integrity and Perseverance. With those values in mind we encourage our students to AIM High!-Always Imagine More for their future!

We also work to implement the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens into our school’s curriculum.  Students take a course in Character Education during their ninth grade year which is strengthened in Maverick Advisory, Seminar classes, Principal's Campfire Talks and referenced in core classes throughout their matriculation. Students have the opportunity to apply The PECIL Way in all aspects of school life which includes service learning projects and community service.
